Jude Cediel is a Fulbright Scholar and Ph.D. student in Psychology, at the University of Florida, specializing in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Neuroscience and a specialization in Higher Education, which support her interdisciplinary background in cognitive neuroscience, clinical research, and university teaching. Her work has focused on clinical populations, including older adults with neurodegenerative disorders and individuals with psychiatric conditions, using behavioral and neurophysiological methods to explore cognitive and emotional processes. Her current research examines the neural dynamics of aversive learning, with a particular focus on brain oscillatory activity, by combining electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Beyond the lab, Jude is actively involved in science communication and outreach initiatives that seek to make neuroscience more accessible, inclusive, and engaging for broader audiences.
